DUNKIRK, NY: Please join us on Saturday July 4, 2026 for the 12th Annual Marauder Trotter 5K Run/Walk in beautiful Dunkirk, New York! Race proceeds will support the DHS Class of 1989 Memorial Scholarship Fund (managed by NCCF) in honor of their deceased classmates.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration (credit card) will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet Pickup will take place at Wright Park from 7:30am until the start of the race at 9:00am. All participants who register prior to June 26th are guaranteed to receive an official race shirt in their selected size.
EARLY PACKET PICKUP OPTION: We will offer an early packet pickup option on Friday night for those who are interested!
Adult 5K RUN (19 and older) ............ $25 / $30 on race day

Student 5K RUN (18 and under) ............ $20 / $25 on race day

START/FINISH
The race will start and finish at Wright Park. Runners will enjoy scenic views of beautiful Lake Erie. Participants will follow Lake Front Boulevard. At the end of Lake Front Blvd you will enter a path that goes by the water front. At the end of the path you will make a right and go around the pier. Once you go around the pier you will make a right onto a path that will go around Memorial Park. You will loop around Memorial Park and make a right back onto the path. You will go straight across the pier to the original path you were on. Take that path back to Lake Front Blvd and the take Lake Front Blvd back to Wright Park for the finish!

There will be plenty of free parking available at the park close to the start/finish line.
POST RACE CELEBRATION
The post race celebration and awards ceremony will take place at Wright Park following the race. Participants will enjoy light snacks, refreshments, music, and more. Award winners will also be announced at approximately 10:15am.
AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
$100.00 Cash Prize to the top male and female first place 5K RUN finishers. Medal awards will be given to the overall first place male and female winners in the run and top 3 finishers in the age group (listed below) in the walk and the run.
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a virtual alternative if necessary.

Professional timing & finish line services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
